Bhubaneswar, 23/7: Wild Lotus Fashions Pvt Ltd , a part of MGM Group Odisha has set up a ready made garment manufacturing unit at Chatabara Industrial Area, Khurda . A hundred percent export compliant unit, it was inaugurated by the Hon’ble Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on 23rd July 2021.
Spread over 3 acres of land with an investment of 70 cr INR , the unit on being fully operational will give employment to 1800 workers out of which 1600 will be female workers. The company will be providing pre-employment and post-employment free training facilities to upgrade the skills of the employees. A hundred percent export compliant , the unit will have an installed capacity of 950 sewing machines. Initially Wild Lotus Fashions will be supplying ready made garments to Indian buyers and brands like Reliance Trends , Shoppers Stop etc., but in a years time the unit will start exporting to International Brands and buyers said Pankaj Mohanty the Chairman of MGM Group.
