Bhubaneswar,21/06: The Kalahandi Cup – 2024 Senior Men Inter District Cricket Tournament came to an end today. The tournament started with the preliminary one-day (50 overs) matches played with white Ball consisting of 38 teams from 17th March till 16th April 2024. Out of which six (6) teams qualified into the super league & another four (4) Rest of Odisha Teams were formed, constituting to a total of 10 teams. Then the 10 teams were divided into 2 groups A & B, which played super league matches with Red Ball (Multi-Day format) from 5th to 18th June, 2024.

emerged as the Champions & Bhubaneswar-A settled for the Runners-up spot. Debabrata Pradhan of Rest of Odisha-C was adjudicated as the Player of the Final.
The final was also live streamed on the Official Facebook Page & YouTube Channel of OCA. The closing ceremony took place at Barabati Stadium, Cuttack at around 4:00PM.
Debashish Mohanty (Ex-International Cricket & Member OCA), Asirbad Behera (Secretary, FAO & OAA), Avijit Paul (Secretary, OOA) graced the occasion as the Guests of Honour & Surendra Bhave (Head Coach, Odisha Senior Men Team) as the guest, who were felicitated by the Office Bearers of OCA. Apart from them, Pankaj Lochan Mohanty (Vice-President, OCA), Sanjay Behera (Secretary, OCA), Bikash Pradhan (Treasurer, OCA) & Pratap Chandra Pradhan (Apex Council Member, OCA) were present for the closing ceremony.
Other distinguished members of OCA namely, Sourya Ranjan Parija, Susant Kumar Mohanty, Anjan Kumar Khuntia, Sibabrata Mallick, Subhasis Sahu, Amit Behera, Nirban Roy, Santosh Das, Bijay Kumar Das, Tadit Rout, SwagatS amantaray, Gautam Gajapati, Sk. Niyaz & Dillip Kumar Jena were also present in this closing ceremony.
