Cuttack,28/10: Senior BJD leader and Jajpur MLA Pranab Prakash Das was on Friday elected unopposed as the president of Odisha Cricket Association (OCA). After taking charges he said that in his keynote address informed that he will provide all sort of help and assistance for the promotion of Cricket in our State.
Annual General Meeting of Odisha Cricket Association was held today at 11.30 AM at OCA Conference Hall, Barabati Stadium, Cuttack. In this meeting the proceedings of the previous Annual General Meeting were confirmed unanimously.
The Secretary Report, Annual Audit Report FY 2021-22 & the Annual Budget FY 2023-24 was also unanimously
confirmed. Other agenda were also discussed and confirmed.In the last agenda which was election of 5 Office Bearers and 1 Member of the Apex Council, the Electoral Officer of OCA Mr M L Majumdar I A S (rtd) declared that the following Authorized Representatives were Elected Unopposed for one Full Term i.e (for 3 Years with effect from 28th day of October 2022),It is noteworthy here to mention that Mr Sanjay Behera (Secretary, OCA) informed the members that in future OCA will emphasise more on Domestic Cricket and the District Cricket Academies will be functional in near future.
The meeting ended with the vote of Thanks to the Chair given by Bikash Pradhan (Treasurer, OCA).
