Cuttack,22/04: Odisha Senior Men Team’s Head Coach Mr. Surendra Bhave addressed a Press Meet today at the OCA Conference Hall-2. Subrat Kumar Behera (CEO, OCA) was also present for the press meet. Surendra Bhave had played 97 First-Class matches for Maharashtra post his retirement he went on to be the coach of Teams like Maharashtra, Punjab & Haryana.
He was also a BCCI Selector. To begin with he thanked the Cricket Advisory Committee (CAC), Pranab Prakash Das (President), OCA Vice President Pankaj Lochan Mohanty, Sanjay Behera (Secretary) & all other Officer Bearers of OCA for entrusting him with the job of being the Head Coach of Odisha Senior Men Team.
While speaking about his future plans with Odisha Team, he said, his focus would be on Fitness, Fielding & honing Skills of the players. He feels that there is a lot of potential in Odisha Cricketers & need to perform in Crucial Matches& win against good teams in all 3 formats which will enable the team to get through to the Knock-Out stages.
