Bhubaneswar,04/03: The groundbreaking ceremony of MGM Biofuels Pvt. Ltd. at Boudh was held on 1st March 2024. And was included in this phase of groundbreaking of various industrial projects around the state. Hon’ble Chief Minister performed the Groundbreaking ceremony in virtual mode.
This plant by MGM Biofuels will be a grain-based ethanol distillery with an estimated project cost of Rs. 250 Crs. The project will provide direct employment to around 250 people and indirect employment to another 300 more. This plant will also generate DDGS (Distillers Dried Grain Soluble) powder as a byproduct which is highly rich in protein content and can be used as cattle or poultry feed.
